Why Freshers in Oracle Applications Suffer ? How to overcome it ?

Dear All,
most of the people who attend training from oracle university or any other training institute, will never know what are the types of designations and jobs profiles available in the market. Many instructors are informed well in advance, not to teach or train candidates on what is not in the Training institute material. This results in lack of awareness of the students who comes out from training, since they are ready made for the job rightaway.... !
And even during the training, the students are not in a great level on clarity to cope with the instructors pace most of the times.... ! Few hesitate to ask doubts, few ask too many doubts ... !
Students are not taught about the practical difficulties that could happen in a implementation, no case studies... only standard hands on exercises, without any purpose, that too most of the time neglected during classes... !

Inspite of all these, students needs to work really hard to create an edge to become saleable in the job market today !

What one can do ?

1) During the training period one should show more concentration and determination towards the subject.
2) Even the most difficult setup or concept will look easy inside a classroom when you are in the presence of the instructor, but when u look back the same after couple of days, it will look as Greek and latin. So constant revision is needed during the training itself, and knock off doubts at the earlier stage...
3) Never carry on with your doubts till the last day of the training, that never works !
4) When trying for job, practice harder and read more with the materials u have in the hand , rather than depending on few Standard FAQ questions .
5) Be more clear with the concepts than the setups, since setups can be learnt just by practice, whereas Concepts are the core skill of yours, so you should posses it from the very beginning !
6) Practice on dummy projects on your own, just by imagining a company and develop a structure and perform operations and transactions etc
7) Update yourself with the latest in the Oracle world by visiting Oracle.com regularly
8) Register for forums/Communities where real time Professionals share thier experiences
9) You must know what is possible and what is not in the Applications....
Things will work out fine , when you perform your duty... !
